Alec Baldwin and gun safety

I never sad he Pinter AT others. I said would YOU point it in the direction of others. I ask would YOU inspect the gun personally . If Baldwin did personally check the gun why did he shoot her.

If it turned out to have a live round, he would have handed it back to the AD and tell her it isn't cold. And he would have raised hell about it and fired everyone responsible for it.

Does that answer your question?

I am pretty sure he will be bothered by this for the rest of his life. PTSD and depression are not a funny thing. It's worse than prison.

So you can negligently kill someone as long as you get depressed about it. GOT IT!!!!

Honestly, you guys have milked this tragedy for all it's worth. What more to you want at this point? It's being investigated, and people will be liable.

You don't like Baldwin. We get it. We also know - 100% - that if this was a conservative or even moderate actor, you would not care.

Thank you. Since those things did not happen we cn safely assume he did not personally check to see if the gun was loaded

One more time, we do not know if it was loaded with a full functional bullet.

Think of it this way... you have maybe 3 people responsible checking and carrying from the top to the bottom. Each person is responsible for checking the gun. The armorer is responsible for cleaning it and making sure it's safe. And so on. The gun is carried from the top the bottom.

If the gun was loaded with a full functional bullet, how is it that nobody in the chain of carrying and responsibility not know about it?

If you were handed a gun and were told it was unloaded. Would you:

1. Point in in the direction of others and pull the trigger.

2. Check the gun yourself before pulling the trigger.

If you have taken a firearms safety course you would check the gun regardless of how many folks tell you it is not loaded. You would also learn to treat all guns as if they are loaded and not to point them at people... Since this is a movie set they seem to have a bit different set of rules to follow. Movies would suck if they wouldn't, you know, act like they were shooting at folks. Sometimes at the camera to make it appear as if you are the target...
