the OP is by Caitlin Johnstone one of my fast becoming fav authors. She's provocative but also has a wide perspective.

Her recipe is reparations -it's a tangible pay down on the past . She claims liberals won't go for it though
because then who are they going to shake down for the next kind of A.Action?

I've read some of her work before .. same disagreements. Reparations will never happen, and even if it did, it should come in the form of educational credits for higher learning. not dollars in the pocket.

Same question I would ask of her .. how do we deal with healing without dealing with the cancer? Ignoring the cancer is why America is still dealing with it's vile and racist past.

These right-wing assclowns aren't a threat to African-Americans more than they are a threat to the American way of life.
