Anheuser-Busch (Budweiser) gets body slammed to the mat.

InBev is almost now forced to make a commercial aimed at Buds longtime loyal customers "We still like you, want your business, even though Bud is no longer an American brand please consider it".

Maybe. Light beer drinkers aren't exactly beer aficionados. Back in the 70's the guy who sponsored and played on our softball team used to bring coolers of Miller Light to the games. I developed a taste for it, but would never buy it.
Beer should at least undergo a color change when it passes through the body.

Agree, although Miller had a bit of a bite to it, which I liked. I'm not a beer drinker, but I do enjoy a micro brew on occasion. I lean toward dark beer if I'm going to have one or two.

I don't understand anyone who skimps on their vices. Low fat ice cream makes no sense. Just enjoy it for fuck's sake.

Ever notice that the 30 packs of beer are usually lite beer? They drink a lot because it like water.

Nike learned. Share price doubled within a year of the Kap promotion.
LOL...It's interesting who they support... but then some people will promote anyone for a buck...well almost anyone...Have they forgiven the athletes who are mothers?
Anyway, I'm sure they're proud of "Dylan"...he sure was impressive...;)

It did talk balls to make the trans commercial.
It aims to normalize it, which I have no problem with. I've made myself pretty clear that I draw the line at sports. I don't give a flying fuck about any other social issues w/respect to the community.

Every single t.v. series now goes out of the way to push gay/lesbian couples as being perfectly normal. It's the most effective way to counteract the very public political ploys that denounce the community.

For most people, shoes are shoes. When I was still playing basketball, I preferred Nike. I didn't pay attention to, nor was I swayed by advertising.

There are way too many very good micro breweries these days to think they are the only games in town.

I don't know what happened in this nation? For decades, people seem to like really bad beer.

Back in the day men in the trades used to drink beer all day while working. As a kid I remember an odd smell coming from the carpenters who worked on our house. Back then it was Rheingold, Pabst, Schlitz, etc.. I guess it was like drinking water.

It's about shelf space and market share. Most of the beers in the supermarkets taste the same. They just come out with new products for shelf space.

The best beer is fairly regional. The big ones are marketed nationally. Sam Adams was probably the first craft beer to be marketed nationally.

And Sam Adams is not good beer.

Too sweet for me, but much better than the pale watered down swill that Americans are used to.

Give me nice, smooth lager over a bitter, piss tasting, skunk beer ale anytime.

Yuengling Old Fashioned Lager, for example. Or even a pilsner style lager, like Pacifica Clara.
