Oil fracking is dependent on huge amounts of capital injections. That was shaky a week ago, but it is GONE now. Even a $2 trillion bailout for just the fracking industry would not restore confidence.

In 2014, you had said that oil prices are too high, we need to switch to a gold standard, you would have had the beginning of a point. You could make a legitimate claim that too many fiat dollars are chasing too little oil. But even then there would be a strong counter argument that most of the economy was going through deflation, so there are hardly too many fiat dollars.
Today, oil is in negative territory, and you sound crazy saying oil prices are too high.
Gold is a possible solution to inflation by causing deflation. It is not a solution to deflation by causing deflation.
