That was not cool.
If America is going to get saved then we all need to start behaving better.
So you do know right from wrong!
There are a lot of things men/women politicians do that are not against the law- but are considered unethical, harmful, reckless, in bad judgement, immoral, and in very bad taste.
Trading stocks as a politician is something that should not be outlawed, as it would be easy enough to do under the radar anyway. Politicians have a right to have their own investments and stock portfolios.
BUT, the only way to keep things ethical, is to force the politicians in office to declare their stock portfolios and any and all changes to them as long as they are campaigning or in office. All of this information should be of public domain. HOW CAN YOU EVER KEEP THEM HONEST IF YOU DON'T?
Now, I am sure there will always be ways to circumvent the rules no matter what laws or rules you could enforce on them. BUt I am sure the Justice Department- one that is not corrupted- could figure out how to insure the transparency.
But one thing is for sure, NO ONE SHOULD VOTE FOR SOMEONE THAT HAS BEEN CAUGHT TRADING STOCKS WITH INSIDE INFORMATION. THAT IS ILLEGAL BTW.
I can remember when Senators or House Members would step down from office when caught trading stocks unethically or illegally.
NOW REPUBLICANS RE-ELECT THEIR LEADERS KNOWING THEY ARE CRIMINALS OR UNETHICAL AS HELL!
That says a lot about the REPUBLICAN PARTY!
THE REPUBLICAN PARTY HAS BECOME THE PARTY OF CRIMINALS, LAWBREAKERS, AND THE UNETHICAL!
THE REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT IS PARDONING THEM AS WE SPEAK- AND NOW TRYING TO PARDON HIMSELF AND ALL OF HIS FAMILY MEMBERS!
AND THE GEORGIA RUNOFF IS JUST ONE EXAMPLE OF THAT, as both Republican Senators running for re-election are being investigated by the SEC and the FBI! DONALD TRUMP AND HIS CRONIES ARE THE OTHER example of criminals and the unethical.
