Most of those death are suicide. If they really want to kill themselves guns aren't the only way. If you take guns away they will just use another method.

When you are dead you are dead and how easy it was to get there does not make much difference. Yes LIBERAL SOROS DAs have made violent crime go up. The COVID lockdowns made the suicides go up also. I treated a guy that wadded up newspapers into a bathtub set them on fire and jumped in. Where there is a will there is a way. Even Epstein committed "suicide". OK maybe he had help but you get the picture. :dunno: Hanging yourself is easy and less messy. 6 in 10 suicides don't involve a gun.

This is the first one that I remember in my lifetime. I knew a doctor that took care of some of the victims.

University of Texas tower shooting: A student and former Marine sharpshooter killed his wife and mother before using the University of Texas clock tower as a sniper's nest to kill 15 people, including a pregnant woman, and wound 31 before being killed by police.
