Archaeology of the New Testament

Your education was obviously based on rote memorization, and it never occurred to you to be curious about the deeper questions lying underneath the brute factoids you were taught to memorize.
YARP, 'Factoid' is not a word.

IBDaMann is describing a confirmation bias here.
That is not a rote memorization.

The 'deep questions'? Void argument fallacy.
Gravity and electricity throughout the universe were obeying an inverse square mathematical relationship billions of years before homo sapiens existed.
The Universe is not gravity.
The Universe is not electricity.
The Universe is not a sphere.
The Universe has no known boundary.
Man created mathematics.
Man created the inverse square law.

The Universe is unorganized.
The mystery here is why the math humans invented so perfectly reflect an underlying mathematical harmony that has existed in the cosmos for billions of years.
Reversal fallacy.
Man created mathematics.
Math is not harmony, though harmony can be described mathematically.
You are denying random number mathematics.

The Universe is unorganized.

Redefinition fallacy!
The Heisenberg uncertainty principle can rigorously be described mathematically

Anything that can be described rigorously by a mathmatical equation is not unorganized, random, or arbitrary.

If you can measure momentum to any level of precision, as long as you're willing to sacrifice more and more information about position, that is not an example of unorganized, random, arbitrary.

Yes. This theory transcribed into mathematical form is called a 'law'.
Anything that can be described rigorously by a mathmatical equation is not unorganized, random, or arbitrary.
The Universe is not the Heisenberg theory.
The Universe is not a particle.
The Universe is not mathematics.
You are denying random number mathematics again.

The Universe is unorganized.

The Universe is not a particle.
The Universe is not the Heisenberg law.
The Heisenberg law does explain organization.
You are denying random number mathematics again.

The Universe is unorganized.

The Heisenberg law does explain organization!
I never said it explained organization. I've been saying the organization of the universe is a mystery. Even Einstein said that.

You inadvertently and unintentionally helped me show that the mathmatical formulation of the Heisenberg uncertainty principle is not proof that the universe is unorganized, random, and arbitrary.

I never said it explained organization.
Yes you did. DON'T TRY TO DENY YOUR OWN POSTS!
I've been saying the organization of the universe is a mystery.
The Universe is unorganized. No mystery.
Even Einstein said that.
The Universe is not Einstein.
You are not Einstein.

The Universe is unorganized.

The Universe is unorganized.
You are ignoring random number mathematics again.
The Universe is arbitrary. It doesn't care about you. It is not sentient.

All the Heisenberg uncertainty principle says is that you can either accurately predict position or momentum of subatomic particles, but not both at the same time. I already had to correct you about this 200 posts ago.
I appreciate your tacit admission that you are unable to extrapolate the ramifications of the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle (HUP). You are conveniently forgetting that I taught you the HUP so that you could waffle for a while and then declare that you somehow taught me, as you do with everything that I teach you. You are scientifically illiterate and have no business being involved in this discussion.

How's your attempt to declare your religion to be "thettled thienth" coming along? How does Global Warming fit into your doctrine?

godel is a better case to make.

why do you avoid that one?

cuz it also destroys AI?

yes. I think that's it.

I think the evidence is sufficient to point to a rational universe being caused by some type of rational agency or organizing principle.
Yes YOU do, because you subjectively portray the universe as organized and you believe that the laws and equations were woven into the fabric of the universe by some kind of entity.
It's fine if you want to believe a mathematically rational, lawful universe somehow came into existence by irrational and inanimate causes. Because that's what being an atheist requires you to believe.
What being atheist requires is a minimum threshold for belief. That's it.

Christians: "God created the universe and all mankind."
Me: "Can you prove it?"
Christians: "No."
Me: "Then I don't believe it."
You're wildly mistaken about this.

Science does not explain everything but the 'gaps'. God of the gaps is a superficial expression atheists invented as a faith-based belief system.
Science does not fundamentally explain anything. Science describes.
God of the Gaps is a cute phrase to describe what man has done for all time. When man didn't understand viral infections, it was god doing it. When man didn't understand mental disorder - it was demonic possession. When man didn't understand the sun and what it was, the sun became a god. When man didn't understand weather patterns, he created a god of weather to sacrifice animals to.

This is one of the oldest stories of man.

Who told you to say this? Who told you that you are omnipotent and omniscient, and that whatever you declare about someone else will become absolute truth? More importantly, why did you believe him/them?

You are gullible.

Gravity and electricity throughout the universe were obeying an inverse square mathematical relationship billions of years before homo sapiens existed.
Electricity? ... or did you mean electromagnetic energy? (hint: go with the latter, and tell whoever told you to write what you wrote that he got it wrong).

The mystery here is why the math humans invented so perfectly reflect an underlying mathematical harmony that has existed in the cosmos for billions of years.
I already answered this. If you map a route, the route will be perfectly mapped. You don't get it, do you?
