Those are descriptions of the inherent properties of the universe.
The Higgs field, the universal law of gravity, the mathematical constants of nature exist independently of a planet, comet, a cloud of diffuse gas, or your mind.

Field theory is understood to mean these quantum fields exist throughout all of the universe, throughout all of spacetime. They are an inherent properties of the cosmos.
