are vehicles really necessary to a modern society?

I was given a citation for no license in dallas..........the cop didn't show up for the court date.
I was not given a citation for the bedford incident....the cop 'asked' me not to do it again.

actually have never been stopped on my bike. both times were in a cage...........go figure.

The State law of Arizona states:
Driving without a valid license is considered a Class 1 Misdemeanor. In Arizona, a Class 1 Misdemeanor has a maximum penalty of a $2,500 fine and six months in jail.

You're BS'ing again.

why are you bringing up arizona?????

are you reaching because you don't want to be wrong?

I know that, but it appears that many people here do not

do we not have a basic right to travel freely?

No.

You do not have the right to travel on private property without the owner's consent. You do not have the right to travel on public property without the owner's consent (which comes from the government representing the people, constructed and defined by it's constitution).

first, you're splitting hairs about the private property shit. secondly, are you seriously trying to state that a person needs the permission of the government to walk on a public sidewalk or the side of a street/highway???????

I see vehicles backed up to the loading docks of my local stores. Unloading massive amounts of goods that people are desperate for. SmarterthanYou wipes his ass with oak leaves. :rofl2:

No, I'm not. It is YOU trying to split hairs. Yes. They must walk on a public sidewalk or on the side of the street or highway according to the laws set forth by the government of that jurisdiction. The authority for those laws stem from the constitution of that jurisdiction.

simple question, is there a right to travel freely? yes or no

you know, one statement that i remember hearing about a drivers license debate was 'shoe leather'.........meaning you have a constitutional right to WALK wherever you want to........what do you think that means?
No. You cannot just walk anywhere you want to.
