As the United States records it's highest single day total for new Covid-19 cases, infectious disease expert Michael Osterholm warns that the country will see some of the darkest days in its history until a vaccine is made widely available.

But people can read for themselves that the virus is spiking so his chants of "We are turning the corner" are falling on deaf ears and makes Trump look like a freaking liar. Trump campaigns as if all of America is as stupid as his supporters. And, thankfully, they're not. In fact, his "rounding the corner" is losing him more votes than winning.

You're right. Repeated polling of seniors shows that his support among them is rapidly eroding -- even in Florida.

Seniors aren't stupid. They have a lifetime of experience dealing with charlatans like Donald mini-strokes Trump. They can see through his "We're rounding the corner" lies.

Unfortunately they didn't do a very good job of discerning the con man in 2016. But four years of experience is a good teacher, eh?
 
From day 1, his entire strategy has centered around downplaying the virus, and making impossibly rosy predictions that flew in the face of reality.

Seniors backing Trump are voting to have Medicare and SS attacked. They vote against their own interests. But then so do the millions of other rightys who vote to move more power and money to the wealthy. I do not know why they do, but they have been conned by the wealthy for a long time.

Random number. Argument from randU fallacy. There is no valid data. If you use the CDC 'data', numbers are MUCH lower than they were in April. You are making shit up. So are the health departments of most States.
