I haven't been a member of the PTA since My daughter graduated High school 1996. So I haven't kept up with Public Schools. However 4 of my grandchildren have already graduated, and several of my grand nieces and nephews have also, and I go to all their graduations.

I am actually impressed with the schools and their student bodies, and their curriculums. I can honestly say these school are huge and they are graduating so many young adults now. Those graduations take hours for all the students to get their diplomas.

I am very impressed that all of my grand children that graduated HIgh School went straight into college and are all working today, some out on their very own already. None have married and still focused on their education and careers!

I am sorry, but all I have are success stories right now. And I am a very proud grand pappy!

That's great! I would hope that for everyone. My on son is in college and doing quite well. He'll be junior next year. The grandkids are a mixed bag. The girls are doing better than the boys in school. They tend to want to come over when they get some difficult math or science homework or have a project to work on that takes more artistic skill or the like. Last one they learned what papier-mâché is and how to make it with stuff around the house.

Be glad if your Grandchildren live close to you.

4 of mine live in Atlanta Suburbs, and I live way over here in Little Old Texas. So we have to communicate through Videograms and stuff.

The other 3 that live here are grown and are spread out all over Texas. So I usually only see them on Birthdays and Holidays.
