The usurper did indeed promise $2000 checks IMMEDIATELY, and no, he did not stipulate it would minus $600 already paid out.

In fact, he went out of his way to make it seem as if a new, full payment was coming.

Now the people he bribed want their money.

On January 4th, Biden promised to immediately deliver $2,000 stimulus checks to millions of Americans if Georgia DEMOCRAT senate candidates Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff won their races.

The promise came a month after Biden told congressional DEMOCRATS to accept stimulus legislation that included no checks.

Now, not only have no checks been received, even though Georgia DEMOCRAT senate candidates Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff won their races months ago, the amount was cut to $1,400, and income caps in the DEMOCRAT bill mean that fewer people will get a check at all
 
There are already people who have gotten their full $2,000. Most people have gotten $600 of their $2,000, and will get the remainder within a few weeks.

trump had nearly a year, Democrats willing to work with him, and leverage over the Republicans, and he could not get the full $2,000 he promised. Biden did it in less than two months, with every Republican trying desperately to sabotage him.

Part of the problem trump had is he is not a hard worker. he would claim he was going to make phone calls to support the stimulus, and then watch TV and nap for a few days.

No new money should be handed out to all, this was all about politics, this is exactly a bribe, so your argument does not work.....1400 is an improvement on 2000.

Almost all who call themselves Progressives are actually Regressives, and they generally desire to live under an authoritarian state, they cheer as the government grabs for more power, which is what the Revolution is currently doing.
