Earl, Santorum's comments are about Trump's connection to White Supremacist, and also, I fear the NRA White Supremacist far more than the imaginary terrorist that you stated.

But, whatever difference it might make, let me tell you that the "Proud Boys" are (1) NOT TERRORISTS, and (2) NOT RACISTS or WHITE SUPREMACISTS like the KKK.



They are advocates and defenders of Western civilization and traditional Western values and principles such as those listed in the US "Bill of Rights."



They are anti mass-immigration into America. That is a perfectly reasonable position with which no sane politician/political leader in Western Europe or the Anglosphere would disagree ("woke" American Democrats and Democratic socialists like AOC/Bernie Sanders excepted).




They believe that Islamists (Muslims) should not be permitted to reside in America/the West as they regard their" religion"-ideology to be vehemently: anti-American/Western; innately violent/brutal; expansionist and fascistic/totalitarian (which is true).




They completely reject modern" political correctness" in the sense that term refers to cultural Marxism (neo-Marxism) and all of its ideologies and programs, for example: Identity Politics; Deconstructionism; Cancel Culture; Multiculturalism, Social Engineering; Moral Relativism; Affirmative Action; Equity Quotas and so on. (I fully agree).



They believe the traditional Western patriarchy has been emasculated by leftist political movements such as radical/socialist/Marxist feminism and this has had a devastating impact on the nuclear family (which is the foundational unit of civilized Western society). They believe that active measures must be taken promptly to remediate the pathological feminization of Western culture. (I agree 100%).



They do not accept trans -sexual"/"trans - gender" as legitimate identities. They believe the overwhelming majority of individuals are born either male or female. I expect they would classify trans-sexuality as a psychiatric disorder ( a paraphilia) and not a lifestyle "choice."



American "Proud Boys" are (1) NATIONALISTS, and (2) PATRIOTS.
