When a factor is used to give certain groups a benefit that isn't offered to other groups, it's special treatment. When certain groups are given protected status while others have to do it on their own, that's special treatment.

I'll repeat myself for the third time. I addressed why AA was created. We are talking now about 2018, not 1960. You think women still need AA in 2018 even though they represent about 56% of University students. You are saying yourself that without AA women wouldn't have that high of a percent in Universities and select high schools. Why do you believe women can't compete on the same level as men with grades and tests?

Anti-discrimination laws penalize discrimination. Those already exist, outside of Affirmative Action. We do not need AA to prevent discrimination we already have laws in effect that prohibit that. This isn't difficult.
