The lands of American Indians was taken from previous Indians living there. They took slaves and created empires out of conquered peoples. Nazi Germany killed millions of its own people and millions from other lands it invaded. Millions died in the Soviet Union and China in political purges. Currently countries like Brazil are wiping out Indians as they develop their forests and take away land rights.

The Spanish conquest and colonization of Latin America was certainly no less destructive than segregation; or England's conquest and colonization of India and other lands.

This is not a contest about what country is the "worst" but to show inhumanity is widespread and long-term.

So you do admit that there was not Liberty and Justice for All African-Americans In American history.
With a caveat that it's not a big deal because inequality and racial Injustice has gone on throughout history.
Is that the boat you're trying to float here?

No. You make completely unfounded assumptions. I never suggested it's not a big deal. The point is that it is a big deal for all peoples all over the world. There is nothing unique about the U. S. There have been many big deals throughout history world-wide.

You seem to ignore these evils except in the U. S. People in the U. S. are not the only ones that matter.

It looked to me like he was saying mankind being assholes to his fellow man is nothing new.

The problem isn't what who did what to whom, but how do we fix the problems? What are the problems?

IMHO, #1 is unequal education of our youth. Part of that is the quality of the education. I don't support "repatriations", but I certainly support increasing the level of education of our poorest citizens.

It might come as a surprise but some Whites like Ukrainians, Jews, Belarusians, Irish, Polish etc. Suffered horrible oppression, slavery & genocides too.

I certainly agree that spending our time detailing past atrocities accomplishes nothing. Saying we were not taught about X Massacre or the achievements of a particular black guy would change nothing.

I think an equal, quality education is beyond attainment since that quality is more related to the quality and ability of parenting than the school itself. Stick all the middle-class kids in the urban ghetto and put the poor kids in the suburban schools and their performance changes little.

The U.S. flag was not designed to represent any other people EXCEPT us EUROPEAN AMERICANS. This is OUR nation, and OURS ALONE. WE are the only TRUE AMERICANS. The African Americans, and Asians, and Indians, and Arabs, and Chinese, and Japanese, etc, are merely grafted in amongst us. They have their own flags and their own countries that represent them. If the blacks hate our flag and hate us white Americans so much, then they should get the hell out of our country, and go back to their native Africa, and to their brethren who sold them into slavery to us.

The American flag is racist. Why not? Everything else is. Healthy diet, racist birds, my friends who were shot and killed in N.O., not because they were racists, but because they were murdered. As a prog maybe you can explain to me how a dead person is a racist because he was murdered. I honestly am too stupid or not woke enough to understand.
