the brace is a waste of money as far as Im concerned and make using the gun as a pistol more difficult and as a shot barreled rifle unpractical due to the shorter length of pull and issues with aiming also reduced bullet velocity and accuracy.

I have made what he would call a ghost gun but , only because I was given a kit for free to make the lower and was given a glock 17 l slide.
I had to machine the kit and buy a barrel and lower parts kit. Basically I got a 800.00 gun for 250 bucks investment thanks to friends .
other wise I wouldn't of done it as there are a lot of tinkering needed to make it work. and if I had wanted to buy the stuff needed to make it I would have been better off buying a factory gun .
these so called ghost guns are popular with hobbyist , we can say we made a gun lol.

Red flag laws this is something that I am not totally against , my concern here is that family or friends can use this to seek revenge on people , it can easily be abused . I have not seem the details on what blow hole joeys plans are here.
but this is a law I could agree with as long as proper safe guards are in place to prevent it from being abused by vengeful people.
As far as how much of a effect on gun crime it will have I doubt it will make much of a differance.
What dumb ass joe should be doing is making crimes involving fire arms and felons in passion of a fire arm do some real time instead of liberal judges smacking them on the wrist . NYC has a stop and frisk policy and it reduced crime under mayor rudy now we have that policy done away with and the 600 officer tsk force resigned from plains cloths street crime and the crime rate has gone up a good bit.
I have no issue with a nation wide stop and frisk law .
