But why if none of it is necessary? It doesn't make sense, you are potentially disenfranchising voters over nothing, there isn't a problem, it is just harassment aimed at discouraging voters. And that provisional vote isn't as easy as you assume in all voting districts
I don't understand your concern. It is simple identification. It does not disenfranchise anyone, as I pointed out.
It's disingenuous to believe that a person receiving any benefits such as S.S., S.S.I., EBT, Medicare, Medicaid, etc. where proper SS# and verified address and ID are necessary, somehow wouldn't have and use that very same ID in order to vote.
Plus they are asked in their DCF application for welfare, Medicaid and EBT to check a box if they would like to register to vote!
