Woman threatens to kill judge, police officer

A local woman was arrested after allegedly threatening a local judge and law enforcement officer on social media.
Bartresa Krishun Orr, 26, of Newnan, is charged with terroristic acts and threats. She is currently being held without bond at the Coweta County Jail.

Orr also has two prior failure to appear warrants and was indicted in November 2021 on charges of battery family violence and second-degree criminal damage to property.

Investigators said Orr was seen on Facebook live, threatening the judge and law enforcement officer.

During the videos, Orr is reportedly seen talking about an aggravated assault she performed by trying to run over several people in her car before turning her anger to a local judge.

“Let me tell you, I’ll kill you before you gonna sentence me … that’s not a threat, that’s a promise,” Orr said, according to the incident report.

Orr then suggested the judge get a temporary restraining order against her because “baby, I’m coming for you.”

In the second Facebook live video, Orr directed her anger toward a local police officer, reportedly saying she was ready to “kill” him.

Bungling Biden’s Science Adviser Resigns after Investigation into Workplace Bullying

THE RATS ARE DESERTING THE SINKING STINKING SHIP OF SHIT

Bungling Biden’s top science adviser Eric Lander resigned on Monday after an investigation revealed he violated the White House‘s workplace policy by mistreating staff members.

The internal review, which was prompted by a workplace complaint last year, found evidence that Lander bullied staffers and treated them disrespectfully.

While the White Louse had been prepared to allow Lander, who is the director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy and science adviser to bungling Biden, to remain on the job, Lander tendered his resignation on Monday.

White Louse Mistress of Misinformation Jen "Psucky" Psaki said bungling Biden had accepted the adviser’s resignation with “gratitude.”

The idiot of yourself speaks bullshit again at projecting tRump and repukes' atrocities against society at being too retarded to get with the facts of which President Biden demonstrated in a bit over one year:

The Biden Boom: Economic Recovery in 2021

President Joe Biden took office one year ago amid one of the worst economies in generations, but the U.S. economy has since made tremendous progress toward recovery, and workers are benefiting.

January 20 marks one year since President Joe Biden took office: It’s time to take stock of the historic economic boom under his leadership.

Though the United States faces serious economic challenges amid the ongoing global pandemic, 2021 was an extraordinary year of economic growth and recovery. The country saw record job gains and an unprecedented drop in unemployment. The economy likely grew faster than in any year since 1984, as measured by real gross domestic product (GDP). In 2021, the economy not only regained all pandemic-related GDP losses—it also surpassed pre-pandemic levels. Despite elevated inflation, Americans’ disposable incomes were higher in 2021 in real (inflation-adjusted) terms than they were in 2019 and 2020. Additionally, by many important measures such as savings and bank balances, Americans are more financially secure. The United States also made dramatic progress in lowering its exceptionally high rate of child poverty.

None of this was inevitable. Rather, it was the result of bold policies that bolstered the recovery and provided direct aid to households, most importantly the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and the COVID-19 vaccine program. Much of this aid was disbursed to families hit hardest by the devastating economic impact of the pandemic: the unemployed, the poor, and families struggling with the high costs of raising children. Bold federal action helped families make ends meet through additional stimulus checks; expanded unemployment insurance benefits; expanded monthly child tax credit payments; and other policies. These policies addressed weaknesses in the social safety net that became more acute during the pandemic but existed well beforehand. And many of these interventions were temporary. Much work remains to not only ensure a strong recovery but also to extend progress beyond the pre-pandemic status quo toward an economy that works for all."

HEARTBROKEN MOTHER ABANDONED BY BRANDON

Program to Cut Student Debt Sticks Some With Even More

Healthcare workers can get loan relief for serving needy areas, but if they lose their jobs, they face giant penalties for not fulfilling their contracts.

Thousands of healthcare workers join the National Health Service Corps each year, pledging to work in places with too few medical providers in exchange for help repaying their student loans.

Job disruptions caused by the pandemic have shaken that bargain. Layoffs have put a growing number of these workers in violation of their contracts and exposed them to heavy penalties, sometimes many times the aid they received.

Instead of financial relief, they risk falling far deeper in debt.

Brandi Barrick, a nurse practitioner in Carlisle, Pa., thought she had found an ideal way to ease her student-loan burden.

In August 2019, she was accepted into one of the Service Corps’ loan-repayment programs and, to her delight, received $25,000 in debt relief.

Less than eight months later, Mrs. Barrick lost her job. The clinic where she worked said a drop in elective procedures, tied to Covid-19’s spread, had hurt its revenue.

Within a month, the Service Corps put Mrs. Barrick on notice that if she didn’t find another qualifying job in 90 days, she would owe the federal government $85,557. That consisted of a portion of her loan aid plus penalties for every un-served month in her two-year contract. It was in addition to other student debt she owes.

“I thought I was doing something good to help my family financially,” she said. “Instead, I quite possibly ruined my family financially.”

Luis Padilla, bungling Biden's director of the Service Corps, said the penalties are written into the law, meaning the authority to change them rests with Congress. Dr. Padilla said it is unfortunate some people don’t appear to understand the penalties when they sign up.

“I don’t know why they don’t read every word,” he said. “But did I read every word of my mortgage agreement? Probably not.”

Neither Dr. Padilla nor the agency would comment on the fairness of the penalties.
