I do not. I also think it is sad.

I saw the Eagle's Nest from the Jenner Mountain in Bavaria back in 1956. It was a thrilling experience to see where Hitler spent some time... although he spent most of his time in the Berghof, a lower elevation residence. Hitler did not like the great height at all...and only visited the Eagle's Nest a dozen times or so.

I am sorry it is gone. It was a place of interest in history...even if associated with such an horrendous regime.

I was there once.....it was a great day.
