California wildfire rips through nuclear waste site, fueling airborne toxin risk concerns

The Woolsey fire that engulfed over 90,000 acres in California last weekend may have spread toxic and radioactive substances from a Superfund site, according to activists who believe authorities might be downplaying the risks.

Maggot fancies himself as an ' authority '- let's see him downplay this one.

Report from August. November's observations ought to scare the ass off everybody- except climate deniers, of course. They'll claim that radioactive smoke is normal.

Smoke, carbon monoxide from California wildfires drifting all the way to the East Coast

What happens in California doesn't stay in California.

Smoke from the massive wildfires scorching the Golden State is drifting across the USA and has been reported as far east as New England, NASA said.

In addition to ash and smoke, the fires release carbon monoxide into the atmosphere, a dangerous pollutant that can persist in the air for about a month and be transported great distances.

NASA said that in recent weeks, carbon monoxide has been reported high in the atmosphere across the country; one branch is moving south toward Texas and the other is forking to the Northeast.

Parents of children with cancer push state to clean up Santa Susana Field Lab

Bumstead was unable to hand the print-out version of the petition in person Thursday, but said online that she launched the petition to raise awareness about rare pediatric cancers she and other parents say are linked to the Santa Susana Field Laboratory, a 2,900-acre site nestled between Simi Valley and Chatsworth.

That would be ex- Superfund site, of course- which is now a black cloud somewhere over Idaho.

Thank you, RT, for giving us the news that the government wants suppressed.

So a pretty picture from july and august shows something about a forest fire in November, huh? Here is a clue, even if you remove the dates, it doesn't change that the dark red areas are nowhere near the actual fires which they would otherwise be in such a graph.

The graphic shows the smoke drift from a smaller fire in August. I made that clear. The fires are MUCH filthier in November.
Nobody claimed that the graphic showed fire spread- it's atmospheric smoke drift.
Come on back if you now understand.
