California lands six universities in the global top 25

Crypuss spends a lot of time trying to goad some members into a violation.
Another blatant lie, probably the eighty third one on this thread.

Go ahead and link to any post of mine on this thread where a fair minded person would conclude I goaded anyone into a violation.

Failure to provide such a link will be taken as proof you just lied your fat ass off

I'm triggered on your behalf! You SUFFER so much injustice! Defend yourself against SCURRILOUS LIES! Mendacity shall not stand so long as Cypress stands upon the hill shining his brilliant light unto the darkness.

STRIVE, CYPRESS, STRIVE!

I was curious if they're doing better or worse.
Berkeley, Stanford, CalTech have been considered elite schools since at least the mid-20th century.

I'm not sure about UCLA, and I doubt UC San Diego was on anyone's radar globally in 1960.

AFAIK, Governor Pat Brown is traditionally credited with turning the UC system into a national powerhouse.

There were 5. I found a list. Seems California is relatively stagnant on this one.

Surely it's predecessor (Scripps) would have been on quite a few people's radar. The fact that Scripps formed the core of the original campus would put it on someone's radar I should think.

Long ago you tried to get me. I was saved by another poster.

LOL, so it rapidly went from me supposedly goading "members" into a violation, to one singular event "a long time ago". 🤣

You're either lying, or you have bad information. I've never given a shit about goading anyone into a violation, and if you got in trouble for something you wrote to me it was because somebody else reported it.

@Moosakofsky has been shown multiple news articles showing that he was lying that all the oil companies decamped and abandoned N.O. in the 1980s.

@Moosakofsky then abandoned that lie, and pivoted to complaining about what kind of jobs oil companies maintained in N.O. during the 90s.

@Moosakofsky has been shown a news article proving he was lying that the oil companies did not maintain management, engineering, geoscience professionals in New Orleans.

Skeleton crews. I was there in 1986 when the industry bugged out .
And you only came up with the lie that you lived there after I said how NO was such a dangerous city to live in, especially in the 90s.
You claimed it was perfectly safe because you lived there for a couple of years and didn’t get murdered.

Skeleton crews!
 Still desperately trying to spin this into a case of me being a notorious liar? HaHaHa

Now that I proved you lied, you've pivoted to trying to word-parse your way out of your deceptions, LOL

Your original claim was that I couldn't have worked for a petroleum multinational in N.O. in the 1990s because they had all bugged out.

You blatantly lied about that.

The news sources I gave you reported that as late as 2003 Shell had 1,000 employees, Chevron had 900, Exxon had 400 in N.O. That's 2,300 employees right there in the central business district of New Orleans in just three companies. I'm not even counting medium and small oil companies.

Your claim that thousands of people is a "skeleton"crew" does absolutely nothing to support your fallacious claim I was supposedly lying about working in the N.O. oil industry in the 1990s.

You almost daily attempt to persuade us how educated, urbane , interesting and suave you are then tell us you chose to live in the least educated, poorest and most violent crime ridden third world banana shithole in the country to experience the “culture”.
Yeah, suuure.

That’s nothing compared to the pre-oil bust of 1986.

If you actually worked in NO in the 90s to experience the culture you more than likely were a waiter.
