The new signs don't specify a year now, and only say the 'glaciers appear to be shrinking'.This what i post to the climate kooks

It's their timeless way of pushing the 'global warming' religion.
Then you have morons like Gov Ferguson of Washington blaming a wildfire caused by an arsonist on 'climate change'.
Some of you may recall the Oso slide in NE Snohomish County, Washington, near a town called Oso. The slide was caused by improper logging procedures and redirecting a stream in to a silty area of the hill, which eroded the soil and essentially lubricated the slide, causing a rapid collapse of the hill.
The fault was the State of Washington for failing to monitor the logging properly and improper permitting, and the indian tribe that was doing the logging.
That slide wiped out several homes, now buried some forty to fifty deep, and destroyed the road (SR530) passing through there. Since then, the road has been relaid over the tailings of the slide.
There is a memorial park there now, detailing the people lost in the slide area and honoring the rescue teams searching for survivors.
But it ends by blaming it on 'global warming'. The State's way of trying to cover it's ass.
Washington did lose the resulting lawsuits brought against them.
This stupid religion routinely ignores the 1st and 2nd laws of thermodynamics and the Stefan-Boltzmann law.

Heh. So is the park. A beautiful place.
Of course, the glaciers wax and wane with the seasons, and most people visit the park in the summer.
The road is steep and winding...rather treacherous in the winter.
