We are beyond being able to count how many times this Trump Admin has violated Federal law, understanding they can just do it, and it will take the courts weeks or months to rule on it, and then often its too late. Latest example was tearing down the West wing and the courts saying 'ya its probably illegal but its too late to do anything about it now', and the prior example was the Bush V Gore, Brooks Brothers riot and hanging chad case, where the SC ruled that the Gore side argument was the correct one but due to certification issues (State and Federal, and certain statutes) they did not have time to count the extra votes as the Constitutional time requirement for certification could not be changed.

and aside from that how would it work? If it happened during the election, the election would fail and there would not be an eligible House of a full Senate. If it happened after the election the machines would be ordered returned to the states given their unlawful seizure.

It works just as it worked in Bush V Gore. It was the same thing Trump was trying to do in the Jan 6th by forcing the Senate into missing deadlines and then counting on republican politicians to not participate in any of the methods of trying to remedy the situation with the goal of trying to get it to the SC who they believed would 'find a way' to rule to push it to a Contingent Election where the republicans would win.

If you read their goals and look at many of the public statements by Russ, the goal is to break the US as a functional State. When most see what is being done to the DoJ and Pentagon, and dozens of US agencies and we see MSM ask if the 'Trump admin does not understand how much damage they are doing to these agencies and they are not just hurting the democrats, women and PoC working in them' that misses the point as the 'damage being done' is the point.

Russ Vought sees a big functional govt, that prioritizes things like 'environment', 'breaking up monopoly power', etc, etc, as the limiting factor on an Oligarch class maximizing profits. He sees the Russia model as the goal. A Executive who has king like powers and shares the spoils with a select few closest to him, is his goal.

That guy is the enemy of the very state he is now a part of.

Two problems, I think, with this. Trump already had his stolen election. I think you don’t get two. Especially when it’s not one more stolen election, but many all at once in the states that elected Democrats. The other problem is the wide expectation of Democrat victories. His credibility in claiming that so many favored candidates lost, all of them Democrats, will be in the toilet. Maybe a third problem: the country having had its fill of this crybabying. And maybe a fourth problem: Trump’s health and stamina at 80.

Did not say above so i have no answer to that. I believe they think it is their best chance to win an election they feel they lost via the vote.

Again if Trump ICE Federal officers show up and polling places with DoJ warrants to claim the machines and ballots even one that a court might rule against once they hear the case, that action happened. They can delay the count and potentially spoil the ballots.

Short of State police or local police being willing to pull guns on ICE and stop them, i do not see how they can be stopped. It would then end up in the slow court process.



Again Bush V Gore is the example of that as the SC could have ordered the hanging chad ballots to continue to be counted and sealed while they heard the case and then if they ruled the ballots needed to be used they would be done. That is what all 4 liberal Justices fought for. Instead the Republican Justices ordered they stop the count while they ruled and then once they ruled the ballots should be counted they said that since there was not enough time, they could not be. So they deliberately set up the stage to ensure they could not be counted in time regardless of the case ruling.
