Christian symbolism in the movie 'The Matrix'

i said it was golden age. not the best. there is a difference.

OH MY GOD, I can't believe Cypress is going to the mattresses over this. He's such a little whiner. He needs validation that HE SAID the important thing about the 1950's SciFi.

Oh good Christ. Supposedly this man is an adult?????

he always goes to the mattress on everything, no matter how dumb he starts to sound.

he's a humorless totalitarian imbecile.

Thanks for admitting 1950s sci-fi is neither necessarily the best nor the most interesting.

That's what I essentially said before; you could have just agreed with me rather than playing your little contrarian games

he keeps trying to pedal his gay masonry and stick it everywhere!!
It obviously makes you agitated and angry that I am convinced that 1950s sci-fi films weren't as good or as interesting as the genre generally later became post-Blade Runner.

Of all the things on this board to get angry about- aka trolling, racism, gossip - it is unfathomable why a thread about sci-fi films is where you decided to draw the line and lay down the gauntlet 🤣

Wow. This is an adult posting. So desperate to be right about everything that even the most pitiful point has to be fought over.

Pathetic

I'm saying you're historically ignorant.

Convince me that the 1950s are the decade I should look to as the pinnacle of great sci-fi films.

Then support your claim when you dismissed The Matrix is just a "half baked sci-fi flick" (your words).

Absent any convincing arguments I don't see why I should admit that I was wrong.

Well this has been fun. Just returned from a pleasant summer evening watching a quartet in the Thomaskirche hof where Johann Sebastian Bach played his hits then ate at an ancient restaurant where Goethe actually hung out while a street musician played his accordion, had an absacher in the same kneipe where Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz worked out the first calculus theorems, and now I see our board intellectuals are having a deep discussion over 1950s sci-fi movies.
Da fuck.

For native English speakers it means I might buy the DVD and attempt to sit through the whole movie, unless I don't like it.
Why do you even try? He's obviously retarded and jerking off with one hand while he yanks your "chain" with the other.

Simple minds, simple pleasures. Worth identifying but once the person is identified to have an inferior intellect, why bother? Let him go.

I strongly believe that AI will crack the fusion problem. All human conflict is based upon the competition for resources. Every mammal needs to eat. Eliminating the need for consumption to survive removes major conflict.

People can still be assholes but they won't become violent unless, like other mammals, they feel threatened.
