A friend of mine sent me this video in an email chain a few weeks back.
When I first reviewed ice core data showing climate cycles years ago, it convinced me that the "man made global warming" narrative was bullshit. This video is even more convincing. More important, it is short and easy to understand, so that anyone within a wink of common sense can understand it.
Fast forward three weeks, and my friend's younger daughter, now 28, "replies all" to the email chain.
Before I tell you what she said, I'll give you some background on her and her older sister (who is now 35). I've known them since they were 12 and 5, and had the pleasure of seeing these cute kids grow into adulthood. Both went to NC State for technical degrees. The oldest is level-headed, has a great job, and is drop-dead gorgeous. The younger is a bit crazy, and if it were possible, even prettier than her sister. She's the type that can make most men do just about anything, and based on the stories that he father has told me, she does so regularly.
The 28 year old launches this lengthy chain email rant about how man is causing this and "The government is allowing a corrupt piece of shit to further run the country into the ground." However the first sentence of her rant was "I can't open the video, but..."
Big mistake.
I responded to the chain with a characteristically brief response telling her that she should spend 5 minutes to review the data and respond as a scientist, instead of clenching her fists and stomping up and down.
