It makes zero difference here. Powell is rightly speaking out because DT is that bad. Here is another prominent Republican endorsement of Biden. Powell would not normally support Joe Biden. We know this. But these are not normal times. A mentally ill person as become president and he is causing havoc here and abroad. This is hurting the USA and the world. Powell gets high marks for having the integrity to cross the isle when the leader on his side is a danger to the Constitution.

I always try to speak up for what is right and that's why I applaud Colin Powell for this.

Powell is free to vote for whomever he chooses. However, when you vote for the Democratic nominee for President four elections in a row you stop being a Republican, let alone a prominent Republican.

I think this suggests the country is getting wise to this and we’re not going to put up with it anymore,” he stated before calling the president “a liar.”

Later in the interview he was asked if he would support Biden’s presidential, bid, he answered in the affirmative before adding he would be casting his vote for the former vice president

I do not recall a single prominent liberal here calling Powell any racist names.

Powell played a role in exaggerating the threat from Iraq, but unlike you and George Dumbya Bush, he has long since shown the character to express his regrets for his role in it.
