“If you’re a Republican who is concerned about the health of the liberal order and alarmed over the destruction of the norms of American democracy, there’s no reason you shouldn’t be willing to work with a Democrat who is equally concerned about those same matters,” said Jerry Taylor, a Republican who is president of the Niskanen Center, a moderate think tank that grew out of the libertarian Cato Institute.

Unfortunately for us, "moderate" Republicans are about as rare as (D)s with a spine.

Actually, I think many republicans are uneasy about Trump—just not in the OP sense lol.

Do they reject his tax cuts? Support Trump on NK or support the partisan criticisms coming from The Resistance? Are MS-13 animals or not?

What to do—what to do.

The problem for liberals is Trump is right on 99% of everything he stands for. So they harp on his delivery.

Not going to work, no one is perfect in their delivery, but very few are perfect with their message. So you need to deal with that if you are a Democrat that dreams of returning to relevance.

Give us a better idea than Making America Great Again, that's not easy to do is it?
