I see. By that standard Sweden has a lower death rate than Italy, UK, Spain, Belgium, Romania, France, Hungary, Ukraine, Russia, Germany, and Poland in Europe at minimum. that statistic was updated today.

Case-Fatality in Sweden is 3.5%, which is #25 on this list...however, that list includes non-European countries. If you take them out, Sweden is #3 in Europe behind UK and Italy (both 3.8%), so what I said before, that they had one of the worst -if not the worst- rate in all of Europe, was completely accurate based on the data you just shared.

Unless, you think Asia and Africa are a part of Europe...?

the graph I posted is the mortality/case ratio in the most affected countries. So if a country has 2 cases and 1 mortality that's a 50% mortality / case ratio and you somehow believe that country is at higher risk than say, the UK.

Agriculture is less than 1% of the US economy. That means that if farmers stopped selling food, they would cut themselves off from 99% of the goods and services available to America, and be left with 1% that is just rotting. They can only eat so much of it. Many of the poorest countries in the world export food, so it sure is easy to buy, especially when you have 99% of the US economy.
