I tend to agree. The Constitution does recognize empowering the government in times of crisis, but when a crisis develops because of incompetent leadership such as Trump FUBAR'ing the COVID crisis, then We, the People need to not only look at replacing the incompetent leadership but resolving how to avoid such a catastrophe again.

the preamble starts with 'WE THE PEOPLE', which means WE wrote the constitution. We also define the limits of their powers, NOT THE COURTS. stopping national disease can be an exercise of general welfare, but locking down the country is not. mandatory mask wearing is not. mandatory vaccination is NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the moment, Trump's mishandling the COVID pandemic has put the US into a situation where it's going to kill half a million Americans until the vaccine can be distributed to all Americans. All he had to do was let Pence run the show and go play golf. Instead, Trump floated conspiracy theory nonsense, false information and campaign rhetoric.
