I don't criticize dims about Byrd. I just find it ironic that blacks, most of whom are democrats, continuously voted for him. I don't find it ironic that Iowa republicans keep King in office.

What I find funny about this is that blackface was considered trendy in the 20s and 30s, and then slowly stopped being considered good comedy. Anyone who was doing it in the 80s was not just being racist, but, also behind in the times.
 
I’m now reading the argument that it’s institutional racism that the picture was even allowed to be posted in the yearbook.

The Gov. has reversed his position. He's on TV now saying he is NOT in the picture.

This is so reminiscent of Obama's "I was born in Kenya" self promo pamphlet :palm:
