You are sorely mistaken her Triggered. None of those programs or any government programs would exist without Capitalism. None. Zero. Zip. Our goverment from federal down to local pays for everything through the collection of taxes. Provided by Capitalism. The goverment is not capable of funding anything on its own. Nothing. Have they tried to create safety nets? Yes. Are they fraught with fraud and incompetence? Fuckin A. Unfortunately too many Americans vote for parties instead of competence. That being said there is nothing , by the real definition of socialism, about any of those programs.

As I’ve stated elsewhere, that turned worm is seeking change. It was NOT an endorsement of the Democratic Party. It was an ANTI vote refuting of Trump and MAGA.

The Democrats better be the agents of that change or they will lose what they gained today in very short order.

One of the best things to come out this was a big enough Dem win that Fetterman will not be the Joe Manchin of the party whom the Dems need to beg to get things done. Fetterman is irrelevant now and there will be no need to run and interview him to get his view on any vote to see if it has any chance to pass.

That would actually be significant.

Congress needs to pin the DoJ down in a way they cannot obfuscaticate and find ways to delay this any longer.

And then i would suggest Congress actually do something performative and repeat the Pam Bondi scene where they invite the Influencers back and hand the actual FULL Epstein files over to them. the Influencers will come knowing it will get them clicks for their content and then let them go through it all and dissect it and expose Trump and all others in them.
