Democratic party has turned its back on the working class

'Importing' cheap labor is a talking point.

Our economy depends upon migrant workers in the fields, and in meat processing plants. If you want to demand American labor in every market, I'm with you.

But you cannot turn around and complain about vastly higher prices for food.

It's a delicate balance.

Now...illegals working at construction jobs has become an issue in the last two decades. If you want to crack down on this, then drop a dime on your local contractors.

Althea: "'Importing' cheap labor is a talking point."
Jack: Yes. Yes, people are talking about it. How many people will be allowed into the US. One Million? Five Million? Ten Million? Twenty Million? Fifty Million? Do you have a Number?

Althea: "Our economy depends upon migrant workers in the fields, and in meat processing plants. If you want to demand American labor in every market, I'm with you."
Jack: The 'Migrants' have probably been here 20 years. If you granted them citizenship, they wouldn't be 'Migrants', they would be 'Americans', with all the Rights Americans have like Social Security, Unemployment, and all the rest. No fear of being Deported.

Althea: "But you cannot turn around and complain about vastly higher prices for food."
Jack: I'm not complaining about food prices. Anyone who is, needs to go out and pick lettuce for a week.

Althea: "It's a delicate balance."
Jack: No it's not. It's about Capitalists taking advantage of the Working Class.

Althea: "Now...illegals working at construction jobs has become an issue in the last two decades. If you want to crack down on this, then drop a dime on your local contractors."
Jack: No Worker is going to 'drop a dime' on a Brother Worker. Everybody wants to feed their Family.

It's a political decision that the Capitalists like just like it is. A Workforce that is in fear of Deportation.

That's right, Jack.

Now, tell the forum why a political party about to enter a major election campaign would so obviously not give a fuck about what voters are thinking or what voters want.

Think really, really hard.

Because they want to Lose?

Ill give you that one..but I'm watchin' you..

LOL. I don't use illegal labor. Quite the contrary.

Know who does? Most of my MAGA friends who spout off about making this country great again

Go figure.

I thought I taught you how to use the quote feature?

The bolded above is exactly what the Senate passed in '13, but Republicans refused to bring to a vote in the House.

Why is that, and how will making them 'legal' give you a job?

BTW...under Bush Jr, it was deemed 'ok' to let them get SSI numbers to withhold FICA that they will never see when they retire.

Jack: Swell. What has that to do with 'immigration'?

Althea: "Why is that, and how will making them 'legal' give you a job?"
Jack: Making 'Immigrants' legal will stop the exploitation by Capitalists. Removing the Threat of Deportation. On the Question of 'Jobs'. It's Math. Less Competition means Higher Wages.

Jack: Color me shocked! Who could have thought exploitation of the Weak could happen in America.

Will you answer my Question about the number of people you want to see reside in America? Like, if you think Automation is replacing People in the Workforce, how many MORE people do we need?

Matt came up with this.

Pick the numbers that apply to Alt-fact's non-replies, Jack.

1. Demand a link or an explanation of the truth they are objecting to.

2. Promptly reject all explanations as right wing lies. Smoke spin deflect.

3. Ignore any facts presented.

3a. Play dumb and keep others wasting their time trying to enlighten you.

4. Ridicule spelling and typos, punctuation.

5. Attack the person as being juvenile, ie: "are you 12 years old", question their education, intelligence, Age.

6. Employ misdirection.

6a. smear people.

6b. attack religion.

6c. attack your rationality.

7. Lie, make false assumptions.

8. Play race/gender card/misogynist card.

9. Play gay/lesbian card.

10. Play the Nazi/Fascist/bigot card.

11. Make up stuff/So you got nothing?

12. Deny constantly.

13. Reword and repeat.

14. Pretending not to understand, playing ignorant/what did I lie about.

15. When losing, resort to personal attacks.

16. Russia.

17. Fox News/Alex Jones/Brietbart/infowars/Stormfront/Gateway/hannity/OAN.

18. You can’t read.

19. Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump.

20. What about...

Uh ... over crowded shitholes is good for 'Quality of Life'. (Look at Calcutta if you don't believe me)

Keep guessing, and ask yourself why a political party facing a major election soon obviously doesn't care what voters think or want, Jack.

Hmmm ... Capitalists that live on 100 acre Estates want MORE CONSUMERS to sell shit to?

Hmmm ... Capitalists that live on 100 acre Estates want MORE CONSUMERS to sell shit to?

Jack, try to focus on the question you were asked.

Why wouldn't a political party facing a major election care what voters think or want?

The working class may feel that Democrats have turned their backs on them because
the most prominent Democrats are educated and sophisticated which make them appear as elitest to the workers.

Because so many working class people are, largely due to their own inertness, so unsophisticated,
they don't realize that by turning to the "more down to earth" Republicans,
they're turning to policies that work DIRECTLY agains their own best economic interests.

Here we see the weakness of a bad democracy compared to an enlightened dictatorship.
An enlightened dictatorship could help the ignorant in spite of themselves.
A bad democracy cannot. The price for being a rube will be perpetual mediocrity in the world of rubes.

Some of our very dumbest people prefer to maintain their libertarian beliefs and resist being governed toward self-improvement.
They and theirs will remain dumbass plebians for as long as this republic endures in its present fucked up configuration.
Of this I am absolutely certain, and the proof continues to unfold daily.

Jack, try to focus on the question you were asked.

Why wouldn't a political party facing a major election care what voters think or want?

Well, we've talked about 'Money'. CHEAP LABOR means MORE PROFITS for Shareholders.
We've talked about 'Quality of Life'. MORE PEOPLE create MORE URBAN GHETTOES like Calcutta.
We've talked about the 'Environment'. MORE PEOPLE consume/dispose of MORE SHIT.
We've discussed the 'Future is Automation' and that MORE PEOPLE means MORE UNEMPLOYED.

... I'm starting to run out of answers. :(
