That's an ancillary good topic. The trappings of organized religion are comical and obvious in intent.

They use a stage. They have a guy in a dominant alpha position. They wear costumes. They sing songs.
The waft around a tome like a talisman, they alteratively stand, kneel and sit, they make great use of ritual
motions and sounds, they chant sacred memorized words.... shiny objects abound, closure from the outside
like a casino.
