You will never know. No testing was done in many cases, and you would need a court-ordered exhumation order and a postmortem examination and you wouldn't get either.

Not likely, even NYC is trending down.

Take away the several hotspots and it’s a dud of a pandemic. Millions of people don’t even know anyone who knows someone who had COVID, much less died of it. It’s certainly true in many counties across the country.

The greater probability is some blowback over the shutdown over the summer months.
