Florida Asks for Hundreds More Ventilators as COVID-19 Cases Spiral, Says Report


While Gov. Ron DeSantis carries on with his tough-guy act of telling President Joe Biden to keep out of Florida’s worsening coronavirus crisis, the state has reportedly asked the federal government for urgent help. According to Local10, Florida’s Department of Health and Human Services asked the federal government for 300 ventilators on Friday as it dealt with a record-breaking surge of new coronavirus cases. A document seen by the network said more machines—which are expected to be delivered this week—were needed “to replace expended state stores.” Figures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention stated that 56,633 new coronavirus cases were recorded over the past two days, but Florida’s health department disputed those figures and gave its own, much-lower total.

If you want to use a ventilator you have to prove you are vaccinated. We don't give these people who didn't use best efforts first.

Too little too late. Actually 'Uncle Sam' should ventilate society at recalling and throwing the criminal against humanity tyrant DeSantis out as a result of atrocities he enabled to happen in Florida.

"The Florida Department of Health reviews health care needs statewide on a consistent basis as part of [the National Strategic Stockpile] program, which is under the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response within the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services," an agency spokesperson said in a statement. "The Department routinely works with the federal government to ensure adequate resources are available and ready to be distributed at all times, as done with this recent request.
 
Why should we use heroic measures like ventilation on people who wrote living wills designating Trump as their heath care surrogate???????

I remember last year posting a video of a NY theatre technician showing all the unused ventilators stockpiled in a back room. Arseholes like Reagan's Gonads were compaining that the guy wasn't a doctor so he should shut the fuck up.
