Did Trump back down?

See? It IS better to have a dictatorship instead of a Republic. Let's hope he now bypasses Congress for everything we want. Now, we just have to go back and indict Obama for wrapping kids up in foil like fish tacos and sticking them in cages and all is well. :)

Yet, still some leftist will probably come along and sue Trump for over-reach of executive authority to get him impeached.

Ahhhhh the fruits of hate.

hey ! have you been playing the song title game?

Back on topic, what could Rump be signing today that would change his policy that you Rumppers would like...

It sounded like you were pretty happy with the policy this morning exactly as it was.

So I just want to make sure that I am clear on what you are really pissed off about. Is it just that the kids aren't with mommy as she is getting ready to be deported?

I mean if Trump keeps them together while being deported you are good? That works for me. I don't care if they are separated or not as long as they are deported. Sounds like you agree with me.

Good boy

That would not bother me as much as what is happening now. Keep them together while due process works out. Basically back to the policy that was in effect two months ago and under Obama.

it's small ball.
We want immigration reform. Congress has to do that...But Shumer is already saying "no" to ANYTHING

Let's be clear GayRod. I am fully happy with Trump's zero tolerance policy of detaining illegal immigrants. As long as that continues, I don't give a rats ass what happens to their spawn. Fuck let them get put in adult detention centers with all sorts of "good immigrants". Doesn't matter to me. As long as they eventually get deported I am fine and it sounds like you are as well as long as the kids are wit their parents

Actually Obama was going the "catch and release" mode which is what liberals really want

Now back to reconciling your healthcare

1) That is true, I went without health insurance before the ACA passed. (Then I had a provisional program called the PCIP, and now I have regular health insurance)
2) I combined us all into one policy.
3) I got no subsidies.

It makes sense to me that in order to sustain your personal world view, you must assume lots of people are lying when they are telling the truth.

Given my kids an example of a “successful” bully.

Caused my health insurance premiums to go up by withholding money that subsided them.

Caused my wife anxiety that they will reimpose pre-existing conditions.

Made my kids green card holding nanny afraid to go to the bank to cash her check.

I don’t think they see the potential for a trap.

Trump could say he compromised with Democrats—as he takes the issue from their hands, and then say ‘now, about that wall’ lol.

I am sitting at the hospital as we speak, no reconciliation needed thank you. You guys were so hateful I am choosing not to discuss much it here.

calling you out on your lies is not being hateful

There you go again falsely claiming it is Trump's policy. You're just full of lies and strawmen aren't you?

There is no pleasing people like you Franky!!

This is what Liberal loons have been reduced to, they latch onto any thing that floats by and bash Trump by opposing whichever way trump is taking the stand. Almost rabid like. Their triggered really so rabid is the correct term. they are soooo passionate about the opposite viewpoint, crying children, un-American values, blah blah blah.
Then
If Trump does something that addresses exactly what they were whining about, they beat up on him because he "caved".

If I were a liberal these days I certainly wouldn't want o be their children, Conservatives take a stand, make sure their children know why they take that stand, then if things don't necessarily go that way, we try to explain that in a democracy with so many moving parts sometimes the ends justify the means.

Which by the way is exactly what you nut bags are forgetting, I guarantee Trump is two moves ahead of Democrats on this one, as per his usual.

From NPR.org ....... 'These Are Not Kids Kept In Cages': Inside A Texas Shelter For Immigrant Youth

Boys 10 to 17 years old stand outside a government-contracted youth shelter in Brownsville, Texas. Ninety percent of the residents traveled to the United States alone seeking protection.

This is the largest government-contracted migrant youth shelter in the country: Casa Padre, a former Walmart supercenter converted into living, recreational and dining quarters for nearly 1,500 immigrant boys.

Shelter managers took reporters on a tour of the facility in Brownsville, Texas, on Wednesday, amid criticism over the Trump administration's "zero tolerance" policy that has led to separating migrant families who crossed the border illegally.

Shelters for minors are now 95 percent full and officials are even considering housing young immigrants temporarily on U.S. military facilities.

"We want to show you that these are not kids kept in cages," said Alexia Rodriguez, a spokeswoman for the Texas nonprofit Southwest Key that operates the shelter. "We provide them excellent care."

A network of about 100 migrant youth shelters are now 95 percent full. Casa Padre, which houses boys ages 10 to 17, has room for just 28 more children.

So, how would Trump not "catch and release" yet still keep the families together, and if he can do that, why did he unnecessarily do this to over 2000 children?
