Do the humanities need a rebrand?

No, I am asking you to say what college and what major does not get student loans. You do not know, do you. You just made it up.

Hillsdale College. They don't accept federal loans, grants, endowments, or any other form of compensation from the government.

One of the most prestigious institutions in the country.

I really liked Mythology in college. It was a fun class and prepared me to criticize the rape of "The Odyssey" when Christopher Nolan savaged it.

But there aren't really any jobs in it. The guy who made the movie clearly never had a class or read the source material.
I've never been to any university that had a Greek Mythology major.

It should only be offered as class or elective in a classics major.

You apparently don't grasp the difference between a "class" and a "major."

Cal Poly required two general ed electives. Mythology (not Greek) seemed the most fun at the time. It covered everything from Gilgamesh to American Indian mythology, as well as Greko-Roman.

It was fun, but offered no practical application.

Who read Homer as part of a myth class?!
Don't know, I didn't take any classes in Greek literature.

There's probably only a few hundred classics majors in the entire United States, I don't know why MAGA morons get so stressed out about anyone studying classical antiquity.

Beats me. They think college is just job training.

You stated "there aren't really any jobs in it". When people talk about college education and jobs, 99.99999 percent of the time they are referring to college majors.

We read The Odyssey in 8th grade.
Had to do a book report, too.
What class was that? Oh, English. That teacher did not mess around, she'd let you chew gum, but it had to go in the trashcan in the wrapper,
and if somebody got out of line, she'd roast the living shit out of them.
I never got on that side of her, but saw it happen.

And they go on to get Phd's.

you're not above it all, brimming with intelligence.

you have never made a compelling point of any kind.

to be blunt, you're stupid as fuck and are just running on snobbery and ego.
Yet you love following me around writing inanities. Learn grammar, you buffoon.

you don't understand why anyone does anything because you're a detached elitist moron.
