The protests include the riots, looting, and mayhem. They are inseparable. Even the so-called "peaceful" protests have seen graffiti and property damage on a widespread basis.

No, they do not.

There are protests. And then there are people who riot and loot. They are VERY separate.

It helps Republicans politically to conflate the two. But that doesn't make it reality.
 
Threads like this are embarrassing.

Both sides can play that game, as anyone knows. It isn't conducive for an honest, productive dialogue.

But when have conservatives EVER been interested in that when it comes to this issue?

It is you who is wrong. The protests give cover to those who are doing the violence, looting, graffiti, and other crimes. There aren't separate bands of thugs and criminals roaming the streets away from these protests, they're mixed into them. So, the two are one and the same. This is particularly true since the police, and nobody else, can tell the thugs and criminals from "peaceful" protesters.

You can't even show evidence of your claim.

For the Left, I agree. The non-productive dialogue on this very board, at least in response to my posts, has all been from the more ardent Leftists who prefer to use ad hominem and insults, usually just a sentence or two, to respond to those posts. There's little interest in a dialogue coming from the Left.
