DOW hits new record breaking heights - LV426 and Katzgar shitting their diapers

As I said before, don't get all giddy, Americans view the economy happening in spite of Trump and not because of Trump, you can't name another President running for reelection enjoying a good economy who still had favorability numbers in the toilet

Democrats view the economy happening in spite of Trump although they gave Obama credit for it. And vice versa.

The public gives the president way too much blame or credit for the economy (makes it simpler to blame it on one factor).

Posters like "truthie" crack one up, they cherrypick econimic indicators to frame what they want and then echo it

He's celebrating 12% growth...but is leaving out the fact that it's over a period of 22 months, and that comes to an average growth per month of less than 0.5%.

PMP posted the annual DJIA figures earlier in this thread (I think), and showed that 2018, the first year of the shitty tax cut, saw -5.6% decline in the DJIA.

Flash showing everyone that he'll always tow the BoThSiDeS line.

Unlike Obama, Trump promised 5%, 6% growth if the tax cut was passed.

So, did we get 5% growth? We didn't even get 3% growth last year, and we're certainly not going to get it this year.

Still think it was good policy?

I’m a Conservative and I did not predict wage growth for the Trump presidency.

My vote was for the Supreme Court nominees that I thought would be filled by President Trump, two already, more to come, and the belief that Trump said exactly what he thought and loved America and wanted the best for Americans.

He didn’t need the job and donates his entire salary as president.

His tax cuts, low unemployment, concern for border security, putting America first, and jobs, jobs, jobs, not mobs, are his accomplishments and his alone.

Whew, where to begin

Mitch, not Trump, got you the SCOTUS, and you better hope the Senate never goes blue cause Mitch set some ugly precedents doing it

Trump don't give a rat's ass about America, all he cares about is Trump, humping a flag at a gym rally doesn't mean you love America

He does donate his salary, but in two to three golf junkets to Florida and he easily makes up what he surrendered, every trip after that is pure profit

The tax cuts did nothing, well, except add trillions to the debt and reward his friends, putting America first has damaged America's credibility in the world plus allowed China to take a greater world presence, and the jobs having been coming since 2010 regardless of who was President

Put down the KoolAid "earl," turn off the radio and FOX, and learn to think for yourself

You don't see Republicans giving Trump credit for the economy? You didn't see Democrats giving Obama credit for the economy? That is the definition of both sides acting the same unless you are a person who has to interpret EVERYTHING in partisan terms giving more credit to his own team.

Unlike Obama, Trump promised 5%, 6% growth if the tax cut was passed.

So? Trump's promises have nothing to do with the actual performance of the economy. If you believed Trump's promises you are a very trusting person.

You probably believed we were going to have "hope and change." You probably think we are going to have free college, forgive student loans, and have Medicare for all.

BOTHSIDES=Reality
PARTISANSHIP=Idealistic Utopia

Partially true, but not entirely, if you recall, the economy wasn't a key issue after 2010, it was slowly heading in the right direction, but nobody boasted about it, it wasn't central to 2012

Today we have Trump taking full credit, but anyone with any sense history knows that nearly all those indicators Trump boasts had been heading in the right direction since 2010, it would be like Truman saying he won WWII.

No one is saying this isn't Trump's economy, rather, that he isn't the major catalyst that got it to where it is today

Posters like "truthie" crack one up, they cherrypick econimic indicators to frame what they want and then echo it

Wrong again Arsecheese; it is your butt pal LV426 who is cherry picking numbers.

Tell us "truthie," how are production levels doing today, what is the current GDP, and tell us again how you did last week that Trump has set new records in labor participation rates

GDP is doing far better than under Obamunsim Arsecheese. Why would anyone want to go back to those days of malaise.

Labor participation is UP. Unemployment is at a five decade low. Stocks are setting new records today. Life is so much better than the malaise of Obamunism.

Why don't you tell us how the Party of the Jackass is going to win in 2020 promising $30 trillion more in deficit spending?

Where's the 3% growth you promised?

All I see is 1.9% growth.

GDP Growth under Obamunsim = 1.48%. GDP growth under Trump = 2.56% 2.56% much better than 1.48%

Start of tax cuts: DOW: 24,754 Current DOW: 27,725.49 Increase = 2,971 or 12% Yep, in moron land this is awful!

Trumps inauguration DOW: 19,827.25. Increase since inauguration: 7,902.52 or 39.85%
Trumps election DOW: 18,322.74. Increase since election night: 9,407.03 or 51.3%

WOW!!!

That's 12% over 22 months.

Which is less than 0.5% per month.

As one of your idiot brethren posted already, that's the worst growth rate in 10 years.

How do you know what Americans are thinking? You're seldom right about anything.

Well, as I said before, we do know that Trump has a low favorability rating, and that no American President with a healthy economy heading into a reelection experienced such a similar low opinion from Americans, so it could be assumed that the healthy economy ain't changing Americans view of Trump, they don't see it because of him

LIE; it was going nowhere. We had eight years of malaise. The only people who did well under Obamunsim were WallStreet fat cats.

Today we have .....................

Cry harder asshole.

Well I guess that it is safe to say "truthie" is done, when one has to keep echoing the same it shows they have nothing more to offer, the rest of his exchanges here will be the usual corny copy and pasted almost with personal insults
