Mullet was the republican face of the investigation. Since Mullet was a Republican, that gave some cover for the stacked partisan deck aligned against Trump amongst Weissman’s crew of angry and conflicted democrats.

In his second round of testimony Wednesday, former special counsel Robert Mueller corrected what was initially seen as the biggest bombshell from remarks he gave earlier in the day regarding his investigation into whether President Donald Trump attempted to obstruct the Russia probe.

“Now before we go to questions, I want to add one correction to my testimony this morning,” Mueller began at the outset of his testimony before the House Intelligence Committee.

the democrats likely did this on purpose. So far I have seen a couple of jpp liberals utterly fooled, including rana. they get the big headline earlier, and then "correct their mistake" later. Mueller has recanted the very thing mouthbreathers like micawber keep bringing up.
