It's important that people remember what Trump and the right are about to put the country through, with no legitimate reason.

I sincerely hope that the GOP never wins another major election as a result. Maybe another party can emerge.

I don't buy that half the country is suspicious. By Wednesday night there was already data showing that most Americans perceived Biden to be winning. The number that remains suspicious is very likely under 25% and may be under 10%. Not all Republicans are as bone deep stupid as the class that inhabits these boards.

There are large numbers of people that believe QAnon. We should not entertain them or craft policy based on the insane.
 
I charted the numbers throughout Wednesday, knew he would catch and overtake in Michigan easily and it was obvious to me, assuming my data inputs were correct, that Biden would do the same in Pennsylvania. There was no accessible data on what was out in Georgia so that was unknown. But none of this was even a little surprising to the well informed.

Of course, that does not describe Trump voters. They are low information/motivation (motivation to vote at top of the ticket is always high). That's why McConnell is happy to be rid of them.

A poll done before the election showed that Dems planned to use mail-in over Republicans at close to a 2-1 clip.

None of the late-breaking vote was any kind of surprise whatsoever. Nor was it some sort of underhanded thing.

Dems took COVID seriously. Republicans did not.
