LMAO. OK...I see that you spend most of your time with video games, and have less than a cursory understanding of the topic. It built all three. Today's roads are paved with PRIVATE companies making asphalt, concrete, and even the gravel and sand for the road. It is PRIVATE industry that makes the steel for the bridges and roads. It is PRIVATE industry that makes the machinery to make the canals and tunnels. Other private companies also lay a lot of road, build bridges, or dig canals. Private companies build the safety systems we use today. Private companies even stripe the road.
They DO build infrastructure. They built not only roads, but power lines, substations, water supply systems, sewage treatment plants and their systems, and on and on.
Most power plants are PRIVATELY owned. So are most oil wells. So are most refineries. So are most nuclear plants. The equipment IN those plants is built by other PRIVATE companies.
You really have no clue, do you?
Translation:
Get ready for Republicans to blame the fed, Obama, and Hillary for the coming Trump Great Recession.
Capitalism lurches from crisis to crisis, this bubble will end the way the last one did, and then we'll redistribute even more societal wealth to the aristocracy. Again.
The other way to look at this is the fact that rates were so low for so long indicated we had a serious problem.
So now you want to start a semantic argument over the meaning of 'bubble'???I guess you'd have to give us your definition of 'bubble'.
...deleted NBC propaganda...

I did. This one is setting up the same way with the modifications I already mentioned. Not even close. But I guess you would have had to be paying attention to the last crash to know the difference.
Non-sequitur fallacy. I am not talking about stock buybacks. BTW, stock buybacks ARE investment in industry!Stock buybacks are not 'investments in the industry.
True. Only capitalism is capable of creating wealth. Soclalism can only exist by stealing wealth.Wealth creation is the issue.
Get your head out of the ground.Good only if it increases wages/jobs. Thus far, it hasn't. For more than 10 years.
Argument of the stone fallacy. The data has been presented to you.re: jobs
All evidence to the contrary.
No, good for everybody.Good only for those who have investments. That's the point you are trying to argue against, without a clue as to what you are talking about.
Wages are determined by price discovery, unless someone tries to implement price controls. Price controls never work. They always cause shortages. I guess you feel that 2% is not greater than zero.re: wages
LMAO. Of course they are. 2% or so. ...deleted insults...
Yes I do. YOU, however, want to turn it into a rant against Trump and against Republicans in general. It is YOU that is deviating from the main argument of the thread.Interesting. So you disagree with the premise of this thread. First intelligent claim you've made thus far.
As if I didn't already know that this topic is way above your pay grade.

Power companies are funded by private investors. So are the power lines they install in most cases. Water supply systems are often private companies. They may even compete for business street for street. Even roads are built by private funding. Everything from parking lots to six lane highways.LMAO. OK...I see that you spend most of your time with video games, and have less than a cursory understanding of the topic.
Baby steps:
Who FUNDS the projects you mention above?
They are? You don't think people can make money building a power plant or a road?? HAHAHAHAHAHA!No private sector investor would ever waste money on these projects because they are loss leaders.
They don't fund the building of everything. That's why the federal govt. steps in. Or local governments.
The Erie Canal is not the entire infrastructure.Maybe you should read up on things like the Erie Canal,

And they do.If private industry built the roads, they'd all have tolls.
There are a LOT of roads that are purchased privately. There are one or two roads in this country that were purchased privately.
Very well. A lot of people drive on them. Why don't you tell us how that worked out?
It is part of the capitalist system boom and bust with the ruling class reaping the benefit
what we are seeing now is the last stages of capitalism: fascism is capitalism in decay
As the bourgeois lose power once capitalism begins to naturally decay, they will attempt to hold on to their power however they can, i.e. building a police state.
without capitalism you cant have freedom
Fascism is not capitalism in decay. Fascism is a one of the two forms of socialism. It is government oligarchies (or dictatorship) telling you what you can sell, where you can sell it, what you can charge for it, etc. But you get to keep the company, and all the risks for running it.
The other form of socialism is communism, where the government takes ownership of your company as well. You no longer own or run the company at all.
BOTH can only exist by stealing wealth.
Capitalism is the only system that CREATES wealth.
yes
its called republican economic policy
it fucks us every time its employed
deregulating of capitalism to benefit only the wealthy
IT NEEDS TO BE PROPERLY FETTERED TO FUNCTION FOR HUMAN BENIFIT
Capitalism benefits everybody, not just the wealthy.
Trump replaced Yellen with Powell. That leaves no way to blame the Dems. Trump's man all the way. The increases are generally trying to dampen inflation. Trump gave lots of money to the wealthy, he does not want to cheapen it.
There's no real estate bubble. Sure...QE 1-3 were meant to free up borrowing for building, but the real winners were the banks who didn't pass the rates along. Meanwhile, there are stricter regulations for lenders/borrowers, and the market is nothing like it was just before the crash.
Wacko tends to drink and post a bit too often.
