Finally, intelligent gun regulations

Yes, I feel our second amendments right needs to be amended. I think if you can afford to buy a gun and bullets, that you can buy a liability policy.

Same for a computer. Democrats can cut down bullying and illegal traffic such as kiddie porn by requiring fees and mandatory monitoring on all computers.

Why not? Once we embark on the path that only those who can afford to pay can have rights then it becomes open season on all rights.

All the time but id suggest it has nothing to do with the number of guns unless you have evidence to support that claim.

Common sense, other developed nations have a fraction of the guns in circulation as does the U.S., and also have a comparable fraction of the deaths from guns that the U.S. has, one doesn’t have to be a brain surgeon to see the relationship

Late joined, again, as I’ve said before, probably won’t, but down the road, the more one can lessen accessibility to guns today effects the greater number of guns in circulation later
Our young citizens, so far, don’t seem to be enamored with guns the way previous generations who haven’t had to have active shooter drills in school are.

I don’t care about your weapons, unless you are a high risk person.

Then why support having me pay a fee and insurance if I'm no risk?

I've owned many firearms (and still do) over the last 50 years, yet I've never posed a threat to anyone with any of them.

How will they enforce something as ridiculous as this?

How will they know what you have if your firearms aren't registered? (only 3 of mine are, and I'm considering selling 2 of them)

They can't. This is just another method of turning the law abiding gun owner into a criminal, and to justify seizing your guns.

Remember this shit makes them feeeereeeel better and isn't that all that really matters?

Besides I think their master plan is to ultimately make gun ownership by law abiding citizens so repressive that people will just abandon the thought of getting one. Oh course that will leave us all more vulnerable but refer back to the part about their feeeeeeeeeeeeelings..

There's always the black market.

Tomorrow, probably won’t, but down the road, the more one can lessen accessibility to guns today effects the greater number of guns in circulation later. And it isn’t the gangbanger doing the mass shootings in schools, malls, churches, theaters, retirement homes, places of employment, salons, outdoor concerts, etc.

Actually, it is.

I already pay for my internet. This type of crime can be dealt with in other ways.

Mandates of insurance is unconstitutional. That's also true of auto insurance. Just another indication that there is no republic in the SOTC. It's an oligarchy, moving towards a dictatorship.

So now on top of the consoling circle jerk we got this pseudonym now jumping in with his semantical games, “there is not such thing as truth,” no thanks, played the game before, right up there with tic tax toe

You may be a safe driver, but you’re still required to have liability insurance.

So no proof just anecdotal evidence.

So let me get this straight less access to guns less gun violence right? So Brandon screwing up the supply chain is not a bad thing because less access to food less obesity. Obesity is a major health problem so reduce the food supply reduce obesity. Nice! I like it.

You're paying a business to provide it just like a buyer paying for a gun. The Cyber-Crime fees and Internet access tax are to cover liability for child porn, cyberbullying, monitoring domestic terrorists, etc.

Agreed it could be handled in other ways...just like guns. Guns are tools like computers but that's not what I'm talking about.

I'm talking about you supporting charging Americans for their rights. IMO, it's a very, very bad precedent. Some here have said that precedent is set so it's okay to go even further. I disagree.

You haven’t come up with any words to refute it, nor offered anything in its place, must be you have no problem with some dimwit massacring elementary school children with semi automatic weapons

False dilemma fallacy.

An insurance requirement for either guns or cars is unconstitutional. It will not do absolute nothing to stop a dimwit wanting to massacring elementary school children.

Tell us how gun insurance would have stopped Stephen Paddock or Dylan Roof

You won’t change my mind and I won’t change yours. I don’t think gun ownership should be an absolute right as voting. I think the Founders were wrong when they made it a right.
