Five killed by bow and arrow in Norway

Whoah! WTF?! Dude killed 5 people and injured others with target tips? :palm:

I'm thinking Norwegians do not carry guns.

The guy was Danish, not Norwegian.

Okay, that WAS Norway, and this dude was a psychopath.

Only 21 years, wow. I've seen people in front of me in court get sentenced to more than twice that.

Talk about making a cracker nervous. The guy right before me got 5 decades in prison. He was already around 30.

"Oh, you get 50 years in prison. Next!" That's not a good feeling when you are next.

I would hang or firing squad that dude.

He will never be let out, the maximum sentence is 21 years in Norway but can be renewed indefinitely.

How many years did you get?

Why not hang or firing squad him and save people the expense of feeding and babysitting him for the rest of his natural life?

He took a lot of lives, should he not forfeit his?

Zero and

the absolute lightest sentence possible ever.

I can't say why for..personal reasons. It was a hoot, though.

On the one hand there was the one thing that worked in my favor, and on the other, there was another thing to work in my favor.

And what I did wasn't exactly wrong. Nothing like a criminal would do.
I was very blessed that day. :)

Been that way my whole life. If you knew the 2 things it would amaze you by the sheer coincidence.

That judge wasn't mad at me.
Okay, I'm telling it.

For the 1st thing, my lawyer was one of the best from the judge's hometown (instant winner!), and for another, I had the prosecuting attorney's dad standing next to me.
Once my lawyer got up there and started talking, it was over, and then the DA's dad had to speak up, too.

Hoo! That was a good lawyer. And the DA's dad did real good by me, too.

Capital punishment has been completely abolished in all European countries except for Belarus and Russia, the latter of which has a moratorium and has not conducted an execution since September 1996.
