Five reasons why Republicans lost so badly

The cost of living was Biden's fault. Trump's mistake was not doing something, more, to bring it down. But that is hard to do. Remember, costs rose roughly 21% with Biden and that carried over into Trump's second term where they continued to go up about another 6%.

Only the Democrats and Left have major heartburn with the Iran war. Sure, the cost of diesel--gasoline is actually down at $4 a gallon given inflation--was a factor and partially because of that war, but that circles back to the economy in general.

I also think it was in part due to the constant drumbeat from the MSM where over 95% of everything they reported on Trump was negative. The talking heads and news lunatic's constant screaming wore on people.
Just give the fuck up

It’s over

You have nothing left but the remnants of a cult and lots of court cases coming at every Republican who aided Trump

No one will even want the Republican name but Nazis and other assorted racists

Dude

The entire world will support his execution for war crimes soon

Bibi can have the electric chair next to him

Putin on the other side
Now that the DEMS have control of Congress they should investigate Trump having 12 Russians in the WH without any other Americans there . and if he gave them any of our secrets. He may have we do not know but the NSA. CIA and FBI all came out and said it was suspicious that the Russians started picking up some of our deep cover agents and killing some of them not long after this meeting, just seems to them for no explained reason they started picking them up and the only thing they could come up with is Trump told them something when they were with him alone.
The other thing is Trump ADMITTING he was showing the Chinese at Mar. some of our secrets. They have it on film so he bragged about it and admitted doing it, so that IS Treason, put him on trial and if found guilty of Treason HANG him right in front of the W H and have it on ALL the TV networks.

you expose yourself as a magat partisan hack when you repeat these stupid talking points over and over.

Biden inherited WORLD WIDE INFLATION where the cost of EVERYTHING coming in to the US from all over the world was spiking and doing so at higher levels than the US was dealing with. Biden would have to have magic powers to protect the US from massive inflation when all the inputs coming in are inflated.

What Biden did was manage it BETTER than any other country in the world, and gave Trump the most healthy economy coming out of it in the world. That COMPARITIVE data is key in any global event as you cannot pretend simply local things can shield a country from global issues.

Trump then took Bidens steadily coming down and managed inflation and spiked it again as if the US was back in the mid pandemic inflation boom. Trump did that on his own with Tariffs and his war. 100% on him.

But as a magat cultist you have to lie and forgive all things Trump while trying to blame everything on Biden.

Terry is one of Trumps most hard core cultists.

Expect him to spin and lie for long after most have abandoned him.

Obama was given an economy that BUSH ran into a VERY deep recession almost a depression and it was Obama that got us out of it and handed off an economy that was very robust and running good to Trump and Trump fucked that up.
It is a fact if you want a recession vote in a Republican if you want a good running economy vote in a DEM.
10 out of the last 11 Recessions all started under a Republican President and most of the recoveries came after a DEM was elected President.

I read about Republican insiders doing a bar autopsy. One said What do you expect? " We ran Hitler with Down syndrome. They know what Trump is. They wanted the power.

Trump's arrogance.

I think Americans would have been patient w/ the economy if he wasn't in such denial about it, and didn't seem so completely out of touch w/ their struggles.

The Democrats have swept to victory in the US midterm elections, taking control of Congress.

While the incumbent president's party generally tends to have a bad night in these elections, the scale of the Republican defeat is being viewed as a resounding rejection of Donald Trump's two years in the White House.

1. Soaring cost of living

Caused by Democrats.

Now it will be even higher.
From coast to coast, voters across the US have been grappling with the soaring cost of essentials. That anger was palpable on the ground in key races.

"Gas prices, grocery prices, everything's going up," one North Carolina voter told the BBC ahead of the elections, adding that she had switched her vote from Republican to Democratic this election.
Gas was very cheap in North Carolina. No more. It won't be long before the shortages in Texas caused by Democrats will spread across the rest of the nation.
Prices increased by 3.7% in the year to September, driven higher by fuel and energy prices.
Fuel and energy will be much expensive now, thanks to the Democrats.
Average US retail diesel prices in early October were just shy of the record of $6.52 (£4.83) per gallon seen in September, according to government data.
That's cheap compared to the western half of the U.S., where fuel shortages caused by Democrats will now spread across the nation.
Almost eight in 10 voters (79%) said inflation had caused them and their family a severe or moderate hardship in the past year, according to data from voter polls.
The dollar was devalued by over half during Obama/Biden and by another 34% during Biden/Obama.

How much will the next economic depression caused by Democrats bring?
And more than six in 10 respondents laid the blame for that at the feet of Trump, saying they thought higher than usual prices were because of the president's policies.

2. Unpopular Iran war

There is no war with Iran.
A major factor in surging prices has been the war with Iran which the US and Israel launched in February.
No, the cause of high gasoline prices in the western U.S. is refineries shutting down in California.
Now, that will spread across the rest of the Nation.

Fuel prices then shot up after Tehran effectively closed the Strait of Hormuz in retaliation,
They can't.

They have no navy.
They have no airforce.
Their economy has gone to shit.
They are reduced to little more than throwing rocks.

Oil is now transported out of the region by pipeline and canal.
All but Iran, that is.

strangling a key artery for the passage of the world's oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG).
No longer needed.
US voters have been paying the price at the petrol pump ever since.
Just the Western half of the U.S., caused by Democrats. Now, that will spread across the rest of the nation.
The war has proved broadly unpopular with most Americans. For Maga Republicans it also felt like a broken promise in Trump's America First campaign agenda in which he pledged there would be no more wars.
It was DEMOCRATS that made Iran warlike.

Around six in 10 (63%) of those asked in a voter poll said the US made the wrong decision to take military action against Iran.
Argument from randU fallacy.
Separately, three-quarters of voters (74%) said the conflict was a crucial or major factor in their vote for Congress.
Argument from randU fallacy.
The morning after the election, Trump conceded the war had played a role in the defeat but insisted in an interview on Fox that he had no choice but to intervene to stop Iran getting a nuclear weapon.
No war. There are no US troops in Iran.

TRUMP REJECTS MIDTERM REFLECTION

View attachment 100459
The title says 5 but you only listed 2. Of course the 2 you listed are obvious and have doomed the mid terms for the GOP from the day they set in. Americans don't care one iota if Iran gets a nuke. They want their fat bellies to be full of cheap food and drive around in their one ton pickup trucks for cheap.

The war was the final nail. Americans also by and large don't give a shit about Israel no matter what the jew huggers on here say.

Nazi fallacy. You can't blame your socialism on Trump, Stooge.

Hallucinations.

He never did, Tball. You are still hallucinating.
They have it on film so he bragged about it and admitted doing it, so that IS Treason, put him on trial and if found guilty of Treason HANG him right in front of the W H and have it on ALL the TV networks.
Your bloodlust will be your own undoing, Tball.

Uh uh. The mainstream press was docile as always. Trump, who was increasingly loud and obnoxious, more about self dealing than leading, with his unhelpful policies and war, became his own worst enemy. It was a sign of how little anyone trusts him that his $5,000 promise seems to have been believed by hardly any voters at all.

This isn't new, it's consistent and has been since Trump's first term.
