Florida man found guilty of manslaughter in parking lot shooting that led to 'Stand Y

where is your proof the man on the ground felt threatened asshole

The man protecting is family felt threatened

WHERE WAS HIS RIGHT TO STAND HIS GROUND?

You stupid fucking cunt, I said that the jury got it RIGHT and he didn't need to shoot the guy. Why are you asking me for evidence that he felt threatened when I already said I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS A JUSTIFIED SHOOTING?!!!

Where is YOUR evidence that Drejka THREATENED them?

Cowards and wimps, you have to have big big balls to shoot someone. In every case self defense goes to trial. Is everything going to go your way? Innocent people are convicted all the time.

The comment was made that stand your ground law is for "cowards and wimps." So everyone should be a trained ufc unarmed combat expert to have rights? Sounds like the views of subconcious pederasts. That's who uses 'real scotsmen fallacy.'

You think dumbasses with muscles

Wrong, bitch. No need no balls nor brains to shoot someone.

It’s obvious you qualify

THE VICTIM ACTED BECASUE HE FELT HE AND HIS WERE BEING THREATENED

You are just speculating as to what he was feeling. I think he felt angry that some old cracker was scolding his dumb bitch girlfriend for RUDELY parking in a handicap space. We can't ask him though because he's DEAD.

All you can do is speculate. But a good rule of thumb, dont roll up on people. If he had a problem and he wasnt prepared to die suddenly, he should have done the right thing and called the cops instead of trying to take mattets into his own hands. But he didnt did he. And now he's dead. The lesson will be learned by others. (Unless they're stupid) so where do you like to park, just wondering.

Sounds like justice was done.

Although I have to wonder if the original infraction was addressed: "The incident began when Drejka confronted and began yelling at McGlockton's girlfriend, Britany Jacobs, who was parked with two of her children in a handicapped-accessible spot outside a Circle A food store."

Was Britany Jacobs ticketed for parking in a handicap spot? It has been well established that she did that.

Seriously, her boyfriend was murdered right in front of her and you’re concerned about whether or not she got an parking ticket?

Yep. Drunk AND stupid. :rofl2:

I don't know all the details of the case. From what I've seen, and I haven't followed this, some guy was talking to a woman in a car. Then, some other guy walks out of a store and casually walks towards the guy talking to the woman. Then, with no warning, the guy violently shoves this guy off his feet and he ends up on the ground. Then, the guy on the ground moves around a bit and pulls out a gun. The 'pusher' sees the gun, but doesn't raise his hands, back away, or verbally 'surrender'. By just standing there, the 'pusher' is maintaining a threatening posture. The guy on the ground shoots the 'pusher' in the chest. The 'pusher' grabs his chest and now decides to back away. Actually, running away and apparently making a conscious decision not to physically attack the guy on the ground anymore.

In my opinion, the 'pusher' gave NO WARNING of a confrontation. Sorta' like a 'sucker punch'. Real chickenshit in most guys opinions. Then when clearly confronted with a gun pointed at him, stood there with a "Fuck you" attitude. After receiving a shot to the chest, his attitude changed, he was no more confrontational, and no longer had a "Fuck you" attitude.

In my opinion, the 'Stand Your Ground' law is to protect the physically weak from the aggressive types. Like in this case. There was NO REASON for the 'Sucker Punch'. Now Evince, I doubt you have been in many 'street fights', but the person standing is in a superior position to the guy on the ground. If there was no gun, and the guy on the ground attempted to get up, my prediction would be that the 'pusher' would have kicked the guy in the face before he had time to get up.

The guy that got shot, ... got exactly what he deserved. And that Message should have been announced. The physically aggressive attacking the weak will not be tolerated.

In a single asinine post you claimed what "most guys" think, told the other poster he can't fight, and decided that the guy deserved to get murdered. You're a piece of shit.

In my view, the 'pusher' was still in an 'attack position' and did not retreat. He maintained a "Fuck you" attitude and was still an immediate threat to the guy on the ground.
Do you think if this guy on the ground would have attempted to get up, the 'pusher' wouldn't have rushed in and kicked this guy in the face?
Think about it, Rolly-Polly guy on the ground has to roll over, he's on his knees, needs both hands on the ground to get up. That's when 'pusher' rushes in for face kick.
The 'pusher' never retreated from an 'attach position'.

So because a fat boy needs two hands to stand up, the guy defending his family deserves to get shot to death? Is that what you're claiming?

12b.

Goodbye.

Stand Your Ground: The United State Of Cowardice

Is America turning into a nation of cowards, bullying out of fear?

(AllHipHop Opinion) Once upon a time, in Delaware, I was driving alone in my cherry red Ford Escort GT in a rural area just outside of Glasgow. I was driving and somehow got into a confrontation with a pick-up truck-driving redneck, who decided calling me "n-gger" was a good idea. Also, we were a stone's throw from Klan country to give you some context. This was the 90's and Hip-Hop was still aggressive, political and raged against injustices. Him calling me a n-gger meant it was time to fight. I stopped my car in the distance and so did he. The very moment I got out of my car, he quickly yelled to his wife to get his gun.

Immediately. At that point, I decided it was in my best interest to leave. I was unarmed.

My Sunday morning was ruined for me. After a vacation, I was able to see what I had heard: another unarmed man was shot in Florida. This time, it was over a parking space. A handicap parking space. The matter resulted in Markeis McGlockton, 29, being shot dead by Michael Drejka, 47, after a shove put him on his butt. Mind you, Drejka was raging at McGlockton family - his girlfriend and their children - as they sat in a minivan. Drejka's angst was such that somebody eventually summoned McGlockton, who came running to defend his family.

He did what I would have done.

Stand your ground law is a coward's law that protects cowardly acts.
