Former Kavanaugh Yale classmate calls him a "blatant liar."

yes lets let facts rule the day

its been the republicans who wanted the facts left uncovered

I can only concur!

Amazing how all it takes is some grandstanding idiot get up and start a mob mentality with the Republicans.

It's almost like monkey see- monkey do.

Yesterday, it looked like a fair process was well underway in the hearing, until a bloviate asshole with an ulterior motive took it on himself to inflame his fellow Republicans to take a power play and throw gasoline on a fire for an audience of one. And then all his fellow Republicans jumped on his bandwagon like maggots on shit, lit their torches and said, "We are gonna burn this bitch down"!

Everyone- EVERYONE knows that Lindsey Graham is bucking for the Attorney General job Donald Trump is planning to have open in just a matter of days.

His actions at the hearing yesterday was the most irresponsible behavior by a Congressman witnessed by the public in decades. And we all saw the hearing go to hell in a hand basket following his rant!

Pathetic!

lol... there is nothing that is going to stop it. No supportive evidence AT ALL from either of the two women. None.

How do you know that?

If that was true, why didn't Kavanaugh request it?

Don't run from that question, I'd like to know your answer.

There is no logic to your claim.

I'm waiting for pictures of Brett groping some passed out girl or better yet, video to emerge of Brett and his buddies laughing and bragging about their exploits.

Maybe it would be better if something like that came out after confirmation, putting even more tons of egg on the GOP's faces and opening up the door for impeachment.

You'll be waiting a long time snowflake. Conservative men don't act out their aggression like liberal men who have been sissified and try to dominate the weaker sex.

I am not believing anything. An investigation is needed. Brett showed his blatant partisanship while he sat there trying to be appointed to a nonpartisan lifetime appointment. If he isn't a liar....he is a Trumpette who will lie for the Orange King.

An investigation of what snowflake? This man has to be the most investigated man on the court. I'm going to say this; if Six FBI background checks aren't enough, another SIX more will not change your closed empty minds.

If he is a liar, he will fit in well with this REGIME....headed by the Liar in Chief! Lying makes Kavanaugh a true hero to Trump. And even the gay Senator had to raise his voice....

I do not agree with most of Kavanaugh's past bench decisions, descents, and philosophies on the intentions of our forefathers that wrote the Constitution. So, I was never going to want to see such an improper misguided human being sit on a lofty little perch in the Supreme court for the rest of my life.

So, having said that, I had to set my prejudices aside yesterday, as I watched his acceptance hearing unfold. Because, I never want to see any person be blamed for something he/she did not do. So, I wanted to see Brett Kavanaugh get a fair hearing yesterday, and I did not want something like an accusation be the reason why he was not put through.

Even though, I still do not feel I have enough evidence to know whether he committed any crimes or not, yet, all I have to go on so far was his outrageous and hostile behavior towards others in his hearing yesterday.

He made it out to be all about him, and his self importance of entitlement, and his feelings, skewing facts, and not being cooperative in any way. He just came across as an arrogant self-important little privileged child bent on getting his way all the time, and looked like he had plenty to hide- much like our president- and many other Republicans I have learned to despise through the years!

that's rich coming from a Trump supporting slackjaw

If Flake hasn't pushed them....the GOP would have given women a big F you and voted him in. The details of the FBI investigation are sketchy at best. The allegations of all three accusers should be investigated....I doubt McConnell will allow it.

Republicans always push the facts to the side.

love the way you show your true colors over and over

I have CFM on ignore (for obvious reasons) but I occasionally see his post when someone answers his.
This is really getting out of hand. If he said "Obama n_____ lover" in a work email or some other correspondence, he'd be immediately fired.
So, why is he allowed to post here? He's obviously a flaming racist and I find his posts extremely offensive.
I would like to see the Forum Manager do something about him. Nobody should be able to come here and say such inflammatory, insensitive and racial comments.
Why isn't this a forum violation?

Don't you think it's difficult to set your prejudices aside after you have despised Republicans through the years?

No, I do not intend to paint myself in a corner, limit myself, and make everything out to be about politics.

Some of my own family and best friends are Republicans. And I certainly do not set them aside.

I realize not everyone is going to always agree with me.

I realize the only way I can win influence is to understand my opposition, respect them, and look for bypass resolutions, compromise, and civil debate.

What I insist on is fairness to all, justice for all, seeking middle ground, and working with people and not against them. I want what the majority wants- always- even if it is against my unique pet peaves, philosophies, and understanding of the Constitution.

I never want to see someone be accused of something he or she did not do- and most especially not for some political reason!
