He has an idyllic dog's life.
We love our neighbor dog visits. They are friendly and always get a little treat before we call their humans to let them know where they are. We all have large acreage here so they roam quite a distance at times.
If we had a dog, I would prefer to train him/her to stay on our property. 20 acres is plenty of room to run and explore. There are coyotes, wolves, and bears here -- and even a mountain lion seen on a trail cam -- so it's really not safe for a dog, esp. at night.
There are probably multiple vantage points to see the fireworks if you really want to, without having to subject yourself to a crowd and a senile painted clown rambling along about how great he is. lol
We used to take our kids to see fireworks on the 4th. @Cypress is right. By the time it's dark they were restless and ready to go home. That was typically around 9pm Missouri time. 11pm? Nope.

It's another bad call by Trump and will end up being another Trump fuck-up.
It would be sweet if, assuming he lives that long, he's presented with a bill at the end of his reign from the American taxpayers for all of our money he's wasted on his vanity bullshit

I've never heard of a firework shows that doesn't wrap up until close to midnight. That's not family-friendly.
