Why is Twitter censoring Trump, but not the CCP?

No one should be censored. But the tech firm’s double standards are absurd.

My initial reaction was it’s a private company and can do what it wants. But I agree you get into a slippery slope area when you start selectively banning folks without a consistent policy.

I guess it comes down to how you want to define socialism. In a true free market, with no regulations, Twitter could allow any type of speech (including hate speech) and could ban people for any reason (we ban all LGBQT people because we don’t like you). Now maybe it’s legal to ban a group based on race or ethnicity or sexual preference from tweeting, I’m not sure. But I’m assuming it’s not allowed. So it’s definitely not a true free market.
