All he is saying w/ this timing is "we don't care what you do." And he is giving Putin EVERYTHING he wants, just like Kim.

I mean, if this was a Democrat? Talk radio would be going bananas. Fox would work 'treason' into a few headlines a week. This would be unacceptable, and you know it.

Putin treated Obama and Hillary as weak leaders.

He invaded Crimea under Obama. Got away with it. And Putin ‘attacked us’ lol, under Obama and got away with it. And Obama scuttled Bush’s proposed defense shield for Europe. I could go on, but you get the idea.

I would say the bar has been set pretty low for Trump as far as strength vs Putin goes.

Wouldn’t you agree?
 
Trump is possibly consulting Putin over maintaining free movement of his Beluga caviar and Ruso-Baltique Vodka through the sanctions net.
 
Russia’s economy is smaller than California’s, smaller than Texas’, smaller than New York state. Russia is barely larger than Florida, Illinois, and Pennsylvania, in GDP valued in US dollars.

Russia is no equal to the United States.

What would calling off the meeting accomplish other than making you feel squishy?

The meeting was scheduled long before Rosenweasles calculated announcement.

You do know that there was nothing new in these indictments right? It was all information we already knew? Or did you not know that? Did you think that these are actually new revelations?

I never defended Obama's foreign policy the way you guys defend Trump. Your criticisms of Obama don't change this discussion - very few were more critical of Obama's foreign policy than I was. I thought his foreign policy was terrible.

So, just to confirm - that's your only fallback? "Well, it seems like he's not quite as bad as Obama?"

And Trump is weak - make no mistake about it. This meeting is weak; his meeting w/ Kim was weak. He's only tough w/ countries like Canada.
